5 tools to grow your coaching business
and make it look easy
As you’re starting or growing your coaching business, you start to run into problems that can quickly drown you…
…if you don’t have the right tool for the job.
That’s why for today’s issue, I wanted to share 5 tools that make running a coaching business easier.
#1 - Loom.com
Ever wanted to say (and show!) more than you can in a text, but didn’t quite want to schedule a full-on meeting for it? That’s where Loom saves the day.
On a free account, you can record both your screen and your good looking face in a video up to 5 minutes long that you can instantly share by just sending a link to the video.
Super helpful!
#2 - Calendly.com
Okay, but sometimes you DO need to schedule a meeting - like coaching sessions with your clients! But what a waste of time it feels like to do the back-and-forth of “Are you available on Tuesday at 3?”, “No…”, “How bout Thursday at 10?”, “No…”
Calendly lets you send your client a single link that opens a calendar showing ONLY the times you’ve already said you’re available. It’ll even stay synced with your calendar 24/7. No back and forth… just let them pick what time works for them from your available time slots.
Life saver!
#3 - beehiiv.com
If you’re like me, social media isn’t your most favorite thing. But you want to get your message out and have an impact… so how do you do that? One channel I’m building up right now is this newsletter, which I send every week using beehiiv.
They make it super simple to setup an email newsletter where you can have direct contact with an audience you own (news flash: Facebook, YouTube, etc can ban you whenever they feel like it).
They even have free accounts for up to 2,500 email subscribers!
#4 - Carrd.co
“But I need a website!”
The truth is, I went YEARS building my coaching business without a website. So no, you don’t need one! BUT, if you’re know it’s time to build one, apparently Carrd is a fantastic option. I say “apparently” only because I don’t actually build websites and I never have. But my son does, and he recently found Carrd and says it’s the BEST website builder he’s ever seen for the price point, which is (amazingly) only $9 per YEAR. Even their highest level plan is still only $49/year. If you know anything about normal website costs… you’ll know that’s pretty crazy.
#5 - Senja.io
Whenever you get positive reviews from clients, 2 things will happen:
You realize what you do matters, get super motivated, and maybe even shed a happy tear.
You have no idea how to organize them or where to keep them!
Senja allows you to collect all your testimonials, written or videos, no matter where they live on or off the internet, in just one place. This way, they never get lost!
Not only that, they’ve got sweet tools for creating beautiful, shareable versions of those same testimonials.
You can test drive it for free for your first 15 testimonials.
Definitely don’t overwhelm yourself with all these tools at once. Just pick one that seems to solve a relevant issue for you, and see how much it helps.
Come back to the other ones whenever you’re ready!
